Headdress consists of a hide skull cap with a seed bead band in front with white ground and two red triangles at either side and a dark blue triangle in the center. There are remnants of hide streamers and a brass bell at each temple. A black buffalo horn protrudes from each side. The top has tattered feathers wrapped in red trade cloth. Top flaps painted with 2 red diamonds with green centers, flanked by green triangles with orange centers, all outlined in blue; between diamond and triangles designs on outside are a green triangle flanked by red triangles outlined inside with blue; inner border line is orange, outer border line is green. Brain-tanned buckskin uppers, soles and ankle extensions with rectangular buffalo-hide tongues, pieced at heel on one end of ankle wrap, all sinew sewn. Fully beaded vamp has bands of light blue alternating with bands of clear kelly green with orange and royal rectangles and orange with clear kelly and greasy yellow rectangles; bottom edge of vamp and around outside bottom edge is a band of greasy yellow with red and white rectangles.
