OSBORNE [on opposite side:] TRADE/P.T./MARK (withing seal) [embossed on wood handle:] 69 | Straight channeler. Dark, round, wooden handle with leather tab tacked into bottom of it - attached to metal end of tool. Metal end of tool has 2 adjustable screws, one that regulates the depth of the blade and one that adjusts the fence. Used for cutting a vertical channel into leather near edge for stitching. Probably used in harness making. See similar tool in Gomph catalog, pg 7. Inscriptioin on one side and on opposite side. Bronze end of tool has a metal point and small pointed knife blade coming out of flat surface at a 45 degree angle. 2 screws; one adjusts blade and adjust point; additional screw holds metal point piece in place. Head attached to dark, round, wooden handle with leather tab tacked into bottom of handle. Inscription on head and on opposite side. Edge tool with adjustable, round, pointed blade. Angle of blade is also adjustable with a screw. The metal stem is attached to a dark, round, wood handle with a brass ferrule. Inscriptions on metal end, on other side and on bottom edge. Wooden end of handle has a leather tab tacked into it. Would make a slit in edge of leather while trimming edge.
