1.69.3083 | L: 184 in, Diameter: .25 in | Gift of Mr. Victor Alexander, Jr. | Lash from a buggy whip, missing handle. Cotton braided whip with cotton twill cord core. Very end of whip is single strand of cord core. Very end of whip is single strand of cord core (fraying at very end). Cord is attached to end of braid with black, cotton thread. Opposite end of cotton braid has dark leather strip tied around end, tailing down. Cotton braid has some sort of varnish or shellac layer over it.
