Weiss Fund Purchase, 15.99.3 Seabeck created this watercolor for a poster to advertise a cultural event, Rendezvous Royale, a celebration of western arts in Cody, Wyoming. The Rendezvous Royale combined three individual art events: Buffalo Bill Art Show and Sale, Patrons Ball, and Western Design Conference. Weiss | Grooms, who contributed to the expanding definitions of art through the Happenings he staged in New York in the 1960's, has tackled western subjects in some of his works. His Ruckus Rodeo, a gigantic multi-media installation, brought a Pop sensibility to the interpretation of rodeo. Exhibit notes: I wonder if Cassie ever had to pistol whip any patrons, if u zoom in the barrel its a little bit waren down towards the end

Cassie was the madame for one of the longest operated bordellos in Cody. She knew many local businessmen and politicians.
