Coe | Tanned hide, seamed together to make bag with small, gathered opening. Hide string used as tie with two small snail shells attached at top. Fringe attached to bottom. Fully beaded on both lower panels, and up the two sides to the opening. Panels are majority white seed beads triangular stepped tipis in dark blue with yellow, red and faceted clear and grey in center of door. On both sides, two stacked top to bottom with red white heart box with dark blue bars either end and light blue bar in center between the tipis. Lower sides are dark blue and light blue striped boxes. Upper side seams are white majority with red white heart, yellow boxes and yellow red striped center bar. Bag is covered with ochre. Coe | Two pieces of tanned hide in oval shape, sewn together with inset fringe around perimeter. Small opening with drawstring, and cute outs on edge. Beaded on recto only, in two line groupings along perimeter: white with light blue triangles throughout, single row translucent pink, and center is blocks: light pink majority with horizontally staggered boxes in light blue with white center, bright green, and black then repeat. Coe | Steel knife blade is marked "Joseph/ Allen & Sons/Sheffield/England" and "NON-XLL." Handle is knobby deer antler. Sheath is rawhide covered in tanned hide in two sections, sinew sewn on side seams. Front is covered in glass beads - majority white upper portion with two wavy green bands vertically down center outlines in med. red, three (3) small red square crosses with metal bead or green bead at center set vertically between the bars. Upper and lower sections of sheath separated by row of metal cones thread sewn. Lower portion is white majority in two bands echoing shape of sheath, four mountain shapes in dark blue with med. red and light blue interior squares. Two sets of double stacked red square crosses with yellow bead center placed between mountains.
