|Harry Jackson (b. 1924) The Flagbearer 1983, bronze, polychrome dedicated cast, edition of 30 cast by Wyoming Foundry Studios, Camaiore, Italy As a veteran of World War II, Harry Jackson has experienced first hand the stirring events of war. His sculpture of a cavalry soldier galloping astride his horse, the American flag flying above his head, is a timeless image symbolic of liberty, freedom, and pride. By painting the bronze, Jackson enhanced the drama of the composition, bringing the figures to life.|
