Remarks:
Hupa basket of twined weave, dark brown with natural color geometric design, c. 1900. | Plain twined Hupa cooking bowl basket of spruce root over willow or hazel warps with a full twist overlay bear grass design. The start is 3 strand twining with 1 strand twining around the base. The bowl was three repairs on the inside rim but no evidence of wear on the inside of the bowl (Bryn Potter: 7/2013- AMD).
