Remarks:
FUNCTION: Recreational and Ritual/Gifts and Novelty. Trinket basket, straight sides with woven cedar bark rim, flat bottom of twined cedar bark, sides wrap twined with beargrass; in natural yellow with traces of geometric designs in faded blue and yellow inside basket colors are vibrant with a geometric patterned band around middle in yellow and blue-violet and 3 stripes around bottom in wine and wine with yellow spots. Round twined flat lid with 1" sides, wrap twined with beargrass in natural yellow with traces of faded orange zigzag designs on top and faded yellow and orange bands around sides, inside lid colors are vibrant with a navy blue zigzag edged center circle surrounded by a border of red and and outer band of orange and blue-violet chevrons, also 2 wine and 2 yellow bands around sides. || Twined beargrass basket with lid. Plaited cedar base, cedar warps and rimrod. Dye faded and damage to rim on basket (Bryn Potter: 7/2013- AMD).
