FUNCTION: Recreation and Ritual/Gift and Novelties. Trinket basket with lid: Round twined basket, straight sides, slightly concave bottom, natural yellow sitka spruceroot (?) and beargrass; false embroidery, dark brown fretwork band around middle with row of black spots above and below, green spots along corner where sides and bottom meet. Round twined lid with flared knob, band of false embroidery, dark brown parallelograms with row of black spots above and below around lid and knob, green spots along lid and knob edges 1/2" lid sides fit over basket rim.
