Recreation and Ritual/Gifts and Novelty. Trinket basket with lid: Round twined basket, straight sides with woven cedar bark rim, flat bottom has plaited cedar bark slats in center and twining over slats, sides are wrap twined with beargrass in natural yellow and 2 bands around bottom in dyed red with 4 dyed black birds above bands. Round twined flat lid at 5/8" side, wrap twined with beargrass in natural yellow and dyed black large central circle surrounded by a yellow and a black band, side has two narrow dyed red bands around lower edge. Basket rim broken and missing pieces.
