FUNCTION: Ritual and Recreation: Gifts and Novelties. Basket with Lid, Nootka/Makah, 20th century. Cedar bark, beargrass, dye. || Miniature trinket basket with lid. The dyed designs are faded on the exterior. The basket has a plaited base, wrapped twining, and cedar rim wrap. The designs are a sea wolf and two man in a canoe. Made for sale (Bryn Potter: 7/2013- AMD).
