Credit line: Simplot Collection, Gift of J.R. Simplot. Utensils and Implements, Household. Bark basket made of birch bark, bent sticks, cotton thread. Single sheet of birch bark bent in half, with half equal base and overlapped on one side and sewn along a hem. Bent sticks reinforce round shape near top and are sewn in place with cotton thread.
