Utility and Implements, Household. Round twined basket, flat bottom, slightly flaring sides, natural brown spruce root with paired zigzag lines worked into the twining, false embroidery designs are dyed red and dark blue beargrass in two bands of fret work motif separated by a band of alternating striped parallelograms, bottom has 2 checkerboard woven bands, one red and one blue. || Plain twined basket with a design of plain twined over multiple warps and diagonal twining. The basket is fragile with loss at the rim and cracks at base and on the side (Bryn Potter: 7/2013- AMD).
