The Paul Dyck Plains Indian Buffalo Culture Collection, acquired through the generosity of the Dyck family and additional gifts of the Nielson Family and the Estate of Margaret S. Coe
cow bone hair pipes in two (2) sections with 48 pieces on RF, 51 on LF, strung vertically through leather strips, and each section is bordered by 2 dark, heavy tanned leather (4 total. The two sections are separated down center by pattern of steel balls or beads and cobalt faceted beads. The top has two long leather strips serving as tie with blue faceted beads, and small row of brass beads on the recto. A piece of gold metallic string is attached to neck loop (?). Two small metal or wire beads or added to ends of the outlying leather strips.
