Gloss:
Spaulding & Company was incorporated in 1888 and operated as both a manufacturer and a retailer. At one time, Spaulding & Co. was owned by Gorham & Co.
Remarks:
Diamond studded gold buffalo head stick pin and cuff links converted to brooch (A) and rings (B&C). Gift to Buffalo Bill of Grand Duke of Alexis of Russia, 1872. Buffalo Bill converted to rings and brooch for wife and daughters.
