Remarks:
Long buffalo hide coat, military-style cut made of pieced, mismatched hides; long haired collar, right lapel is long dark straight haired; slash pocket each side of front with lower placket of darker hair; 5 black plastic buttons on each side of front with 5 black thread wrapped twisted brown cord loops in each front opening edge, coat could be buttoned to the right or left; one black plastic button under left edge of collar with black loop in right collar edge; 16" long vent in lower back seam; body of coat and pocket linings are olive lindsey-woolsey with a placket pocket on each side of front; left sleeve is lined with light tan lightweight cotton twill; right sleeve is lined with heavyweight white cotton twill stamped in black: (illegible)/SEP 10 1919/S.F. DEPOT.
