Remarks:
Channeler. Square shaped bronze head with an adjustable metal blade coming across head at a 90 degree angle. Head is loosely attached to round, painted black, wooden handle with a metal ferrule. Leather tab with button hole tacked into bottom of wooden handle. Inscription on round rod supporting blade. Probably a type of shoe tool used for splitting edge of leather.
