Remarks:
Straight channeler. Dark, round, wooden handle with leather tab tacked into bottom of it - attached to metal end of tool. Metal end of tool has 2 adjustable screws, one which regulates the depth of the blade and one that adjusts the fence. Used to cut a vertical channel into leather, near edge for stitching. Probably used in harness making. See similar tool in Gomph catalog, pg 7. Inscription on one side and on opposite side.
