Remarks:
Edge channeler. Brass headed tool with square sides with a blade set in head at a 45 degree angle with screw to adjust block below blade. Inscription on brass head. Brass head attached to metal stem by metal threads. Metal stem attached to dark, round, wooden handle with brass ferrule. Leather tab tacked onto bottom of handle for hanging. Used to make diagonal slit in edge of leather. Probably used in harness making. See Gomph catalog, pg 7.
