Remarks:
Straight chaneller. Dark, round, wooden handle with leather tab tacked into bottom of it - attached to metal end of tool. Metal end of tool has 2 adjustable screws. One which regulates the depth of the blade, and one that adjusts the fence. Used for cutting a vertical channel into leather near the edge for stitching. Probably used in harness making. See Gomph catalog, pg 7. Inscription on one side and on opposite side. Embossed on wood handle. Inscription on one screw.
