Remarks:
Edge Channeler. Brass tool head attached to dark, wooden, round handle. Brass head has pointed blade running through it at 45 [symbol for degree] angle. The head screws onto brass length that sticks out of handle. A screw adjusts slanted block under blade adjusting the blade's angle. Inscription on slanted brass piece and on side of brass head. Leather piece nailed into wooden handle with slit for hanging tool. Used to make diagonal slit in edge of leather. Prob. used in harness-making. See Gomph catalog, pg. 7.
