Remarks:
Golden eagle feather bonnet. Tan felt cap; feathers attached with leather loops; red wool wraps with cloth tape bands, white and red feather fluffs at each base; dyed red feather, hide circle and white horse hair at tips. Beaded brow band; orange ground with light blue and pink banded triangles. Beaded rosettes at temples: Pink, green circles faceted beads, red tube beads, clear white bead trim, red tube bead “fringe.” Metal button at center rosettes with wood beads strung on hide, pink and white feather fluffs at ends. Ermine strips tied to cap behind rosettes; two (2) braid of human hair, tied off in red wool cloth, stitched to cotton cloth and sewn into back of bonnet. Two golden eagle feathers with white feathers and hide circles at tips attached to top of cap.
