Dress and Adornment - Status Symbols and Insignia of Office. Headdress - felt painted yellow; blue felt lining; eagle feathers; orange feathers and green cloth at bases of feathers, red feathers at tips; beaded brow band with star in center and dragonfly at each end in green, purple, pink and yellow on white ground; five ermine skins attached on sides. Headdress said to have been worn by Iron Tail during Custer fight.
