To load the pistol the barrels must be unscrewed. Notches located in the muzzles are for inserting a key or wrench to unscrew the barrels.

Remarks:
This is an all metal boxlock four-barrel Segalas style belt pistol. It has two hammers, four frizzens. The trigger guard releases the barrels so that they can be revolved; there is no separate written record for this firearm.
