Gloss:
This model used the same mechanism as the older Model 60 standard rifle, but it was changed by the use of an accuracy barrel, target sights, and a target type stock with a 1 1/4-inch Kerr web sling strap attached. The M/60A Target rifle was a well constructed and accurate arm. But because it was too lightweight to meet the demand for a low-priced accuracy rifle, it never had a large sale. About 6,118 were made (Watrous: 1966).
