The Model 131 repeating, clip loading, bolt action 22 rim fire rifle was introduced in 1967 simultaneously with the Model 121 single shot rifle. It was part of a contemplated family of 22 standard and magnum rim fire rifles the company planned to introduce in 1967. Essentially, the Model 131 is a modified version of the Model 121 with a clip loading feature to make it a repeater. The Model 131 was dropped from the line in 1973; a total of 16,371 were made (Barnes: 1980).
