Gloss:
The Model 53 lever action, repeating rifle was a continuation of the earlier Model 1892 in one standard style. While the Model 53 began sales in 1924, the Model 1892 rifle continued until 1934 and the Model 1892 carbine was continued until 1941. The Model 53 was discontinued in 1932; approximately 25,000 were manufactured. Magazine capacity: 6 cartridges.

Remarks:
