Gloss:
Due to wide use in World War I, the bolt action rifle became popular in America during the 1920's. A concurrent interest in precision small bore competitive shooting led Winchester to produce the Model 52. Designed by Thomas Crossley Johnson, the Model 52 has become the leading arm in small bore accuracy. It is available in a variety of styles and weights, and has a magazine capacity of 5 cartridges (detachable magazine).
