Gloss:
This Model 1894, Centennial 66 commemorative rifle features profuse engraving by master engraver Nick Kusmit. Serial Number 1 of the centennial series, it was made up for presentation to President Lyndon B. Johnson. It features the seal of the president of the United States on the right side of the receiver. The left side of the receiver bears a stagecoach scene based on a painting by Norman Rockwell. The receiver, buttplate and forearm cap are gold plated.
