No. 12 – Sturm Ruger & Company Mark II .22rf caliber Semiautomatic Pistol, serial number 216-57158. The barrel, receiver and frame of blued steel; the grips of polished ebony. The front sight mount, barrel breech, upper receiver and frame gold inlaid by Paul Lantuch with floral ornaments and foliate scrollwork. The upper receiver also inlaid in gold with the number 2,000,000 and the safety catch set with a polished garnet. Condition: Factory New Notes: This was the two millionth Standard Model .22 caliber Semiautomatic Pistol made by Sturm Ruger & Company. Production of the model began in 1949 and variations continued to be manufactured to this day. This pistol is illustrated and described in Wilson (1996), p. 175. || cardboard paper box with serial number written in pen on the end; marked on bottom of box: PROP.2006.14.15
