B has makers stamp inside wrist opening: Dorothy (underlined)/MANUFACTURED/(illegible), Stamped inside top of both gloves: 23580, Stamped inside top of A: 6 1/4 408
Remarks:
Ladies over-the-elbow white kid gloves, three rows stitching on back of hand; wrist opening has leather facings on buttonholes, white muslin facing on button side with 3 white mother-of-pearl buttons (4-hole on A, 2 4-hole and 1 2-hole on B). Condition: Good-a little dirty, some stains on middle fingers of A; finger tips are worn and some have been re-sewn by hand. Reportedly worn by Frances Sanders, long time Cody resident, at her wedding.
