Remarks:
U-shaped gouge tool. Metal end is a U-shaped knife blade, 1/4" wide. Metal tip is bent at a slight angle. Metal end is attached to round wooden handle with metal ferrule. Varnish on handle cracked. Inscription on left side. Used for cutting a groove in leather. See Gomph catalog, pg. 8 for similar tools.
