Dress and Adornment- Personal Adornment and Ritual Regalia. Beaded hand bag: Rectangular canvas front fully applique stitch beaded with four tulips- one clear dark red with yellow center, one clear dark blue and red/white hearts, one yellow and red/white hearts, one clear dark blue and yellow-with green stems and leaves, all on periwinkle blue background; inner border of two rows of cut iridescent dark brown; outer border of one row dark blue; side and bottom edges bound with cut iridescent copper; upper front and back edges bound with black velvet; back is white brain tanned buckskin, back lining is maroon and turquoise floral on salmon pink print cotton; single buckskin thong through upper front and back holds top closed and forms two handles.
