Dress and Adornment, Personal Adornment and Ritual Regalia. Beaded hand bag: Rectangular canvas front fully applique stitch beaded with 4 iris-type flowers - 1 in cut clear red and cut clear dark blue with cut clear/gold hearts highlights, 2 in cut clear yellow/pink hearts with clear dark rose highlights and 1 in cut clear yellow/pink hearts with cut clear blue highlights- all outlined in cut clear burgundy; 6 flower buds in cut clear red, cut clear yellow/pink hearts, cut clear/gold hearts and clear dark rose; leaves are cut clear lime green and cut clear green hearts; stems and some leaf outlines are cut clear burgundy and cut black; background is cut iridescent clear; edges are bound with cut clear pale lavendar with bands of cut red-cut copper- cut red; back is smoked buckskin with zigzag edged triangles machine pieced at lower corners; lining is white, pink and blue flower and trellis print cotton; single buckskin thong looped through upper front and back holds top closed and forms 2 handles.
