Dress and Adornment Personal Adornment and Ritual Regalia. Beaded hand bag: Rectangular canvas front fully applique stitch beaded with a roughly circular design of four-five petal flowers connected by stems- one flower is cut clear dark blue outlined in cut clear dark green, one flower is cut red outlined in cut clear dark green, one flower is cut clear dark red outlined in cut clear dark green and cut clear dark blue, one flower is cut dark orange outlined in cut clear dark green, leaves are cut clear dark green outlined in cut clear lime green, stems are cut clear lime green; background is light turquoise; side and bottom edges are bound with red cotton, top front edge is bound with black cotton; back is vertically pieced and machine stitched navy blue velveteen and worn bright green velvet with navy velveteen and worn bright green velvet with navy velveteen binding on back upper edge; lining front and back is red cotton; single buckskin thong through upper front and back holds top closed and forms two handles.
