Dress and Adornment - Status Symbols and Insignia of Office. Ceremonial Hat, Hupa, Yurok, Karok, Klamath-Trinity River Region, early 1900s. Hazel sticks, spruce roots, bear grass, maidenhair fern. || Plain twined hat with three strand twining at the start and between design zones. The design is woven with a one half twist overlay (Bryn Potter: 7/2013- AMD).
