Swept-back bonnet. Red felt skull cap. 26 golden eagle feathers wrapped with hide string radiate around skull cap. Tips have attached red-dyed and yellow-dyed hair and also feather fluffs that appear to be contemporary. Front strip of hide has a bead pattern in blue, white, green, and red. Blue may be "box" pattern and red design may be "filled up" design. 8 short hide strings hand around front of brow band and have metal cones wrapped around ends with a bit of short red-dyed horse (?) hair. Feather fluffs in the front above brow band are red, pink, and purple and appear to be contemporary. There is a metal commercial nail hanging from a string attached to the inside of the bonnet and is most likely for contemporary display purposes.
