Dress and Adornment - Personal Adornment. Object: Horn headdress - buffalo hide skull cap with two whole horns, lazy stitch bead band in geometric design across front. Blue felt trailer with eagle feathers attached having red wool wrapped stems. Ribbon streamers extending from sides of cap. Serrated edge at trailer bottom. This headdress supposedly worn by American Horse. This headdress was formerly thought to be from the Adolf Spohr collection but further research by Elizabeth Brink documents this as being from Barry Williams.
