Remarks:
Zuni kachina, carved from cottonwood root, tag reads: "Shelaka, Zuni, Given by Mody, Christmas 1933, used in dances of Thanksgiving for abundant harvest. Tuba City." This is not a Zuni Shalako kachina. It is probably a parrot kachina. Time period seems correct. (AMD - 11/2016)
