Remarks:
Ritual and Recreation; Gifts and Novelties. Beaded knife case: Oblong sheath of dark brown commerical leather with buckskin lining, fully applique stitch beaded on both sides. Front has a five petal flower of "pearls" outlined in pale pink beads, a red bead heart with "pearls" outlined and initials "PP" and a 2nd five petal flower of "pearls" outlined in clear smoky beads; background is a dark brown; around edges are large black flat round faceted top beads. Back has two five petal flowers of clear gold beads outlined in pale pink beads, top one has "pearls" in the center, bottom one has a round rhinestone center; between flowers is a circular-motif with a center of red beads outlined in large black flat round faceted top beads; background is dark brown; around edges are large black flat round faceted top beads. Top and seamed edges are decorated with a row of large gold faceted beads.
