Remarks:
Rawhide maul with wood handle. Wooden handle originally fit tightly into metal head (handle is loose). Light colored wooden handle. Rawhide is slacked in layers and tightly fitted around the metal head. Very large & heavy. Used for striking large punches & rosette cutters. See Osborne catalog #55, pg. 28.
