Rawhide maul with laminated leather handle. Round, rawhide head. Metal core is painted red. Brass ring & nut in end of handle. Hammer end is round metal piece. Leather handle is dark, dark brown. Used for striking punches, stamp tools, etc. See Osborne catalog #55, pg. 28.
