Dress and Adornment: Daily And/Or Festive Adornment. Indian tanned and smoked buckskin (deer possibly) upper with separate double pointed tongue, buckskin sole with heavy (buffalo possibly) leather heel section, sinew sewn; red twill cloth band sewn on around ankle with dark brown thread; double layer canvas hightops added with stitching in white thread, some black thread stitching at front edge. Leather upper fully net beaded with chevrons of red white hearts and clear green on white ground with faceted silver beads at intersections, bands around bottom edge of foot and ankle in white, yellow, clear green and red white hearts with faceted silver, faceted gold and white beads at intersections. Leather thong tie woven through holes in leather and red twill at ankle then wraps around canvas high top several times.
