Remarks:
Dress and Adornment, Daily and/or Festive Adornment. Indian tanned leather upper with rawhide sole, sinew sewn seams. Separate trapezoidal tongue with rawhide tab. Quilled vamp with stepped triangles of yellow and purple on red ground; quilled bands around foot in the same colors; rawhide strips on tongue are wrapped with red quills with purple and yellow quills woven through vertically. Lazy stitch beaded band around bottom of upper with right triangle and box designs in royal blue, light blue, red/white hearts and clear maroon on white ground; narrow lazy stitch band up heel and around ankle of royal blue parallelograms and lines on white ground; royal, light blue, and white edging at top. Ends of tongues trimmed with small tin cones with remnants of pink feathers attached.
