Remarks:
Dress and Adornment; Personal Adornment and Ritual Regalia. Shell Wampum (heishi) and formed from shell triangulate, inlayed beads strung on twilled cord and knotted at center back. From center back there is 8" of shell wampum (heishi) and then six shaped and inlayed beads,traingulate shaped with a white/pink base shell and inlayed with turquoise chips and black stone. Same on both sides. There is about 1 1/2 inch of heishi seperating each triangulate bead. Center bead is made from white/pink shell and inlayed with turquiose chips and a strip of white and black stone on lower center. Spoon shaped. On back is written "750".
