The Paul Dyck Plains Indian Buffalo Culture Collection, acquired through the generosity of the Dyck family and additional gifts of the Nielson Family and the Estate of Margaret S. Coe
Remarks:
Twelve (12) small tail feathers (2 ¾"L) wrapped in cotton tape, and mounted in a hollowed out bone (2 ½"L). Bone handle has small antler notch adhered at bottom to a metal eye hook, where hide strip is attached and covered with small dome shaped carved wood piece, and has 6 twisted strands of twine fringe, wrapped at top with cotton string.
