Remarks:
Catlinite pipe bowl with banded designs. Shaft of bowl cylindrical with flattened underside and slight taper to front end. Tip slanted downward, four carved concentric bands behind tip. Stem end has five concentric bands, wider band midway between stem joint and base of bowl. Base of bowl carved so it appears to “wrap” around shaft. Five concentric bands near top, larger band midway on bowl. Dark color and glossy finish to stone with lighter stone on one side.
