Remarks:
A) steatite, rectangular with pronounced anterior projection, square in cross section; diagonal lead striping and abstract forms around bowl with design inlay catlinite, steatite. Square inlay of catlinite, steatite and lead around bottom of shank end, with three (3) figures (two triangles and an oval) projecting upward from ornamental border. B) medium toned wood with satin finish, plain, tapers down slightly from shank end to mouthpiece. Mouthpiece is carved with an incorporated ridge. Piece of twine attached around mouthpiece.
