Remarks:
Steatite pipe bowl with raised ridge on base. Dark green stone with grey and black flecks. Slender bowl 3 ¼” high tapers down to narrower base. Two carved, concentric rings around top edge of bowl. Base widest at stem hole, rounded to base of bowl, with small, curved front area. Decorative carved ridge on top of base with notched ridges on top and side edges, carved lines and dots. Slight trace of red pigment in carvings. Bottom of base flattened; parallel lines carved into length of underside.
