Remarks:
Pocket watch, gold case. Crystal face plate over white face with black numbers and minute marks, second timer inset at 6 o'clock, blued metal hands. Inscriptions printed on face, engraved on back cover, stamped inside back cover, stamped inside watch back, stamped on watch works. This is probably the watch referred to in Mary Jester Allen collection #116A as being "owned by Col. Cody and given to sister Helen Cody Wetmore".
